Who creates the menu?
We work with clients to create a menu they are truly excited about! We are happy to provide menu suggestions, and/or you can let us know exactly what you have in mind. We will closely work with you to plan your ideal party. We can send you sample Surf & Turf, BBQ, Clambake, and/or menus for any type of cuisine!
For my gathering, do you offer plated dinner service, or is it done
family/buffet style?
Depending on your menu, and the amount of people, we are flexible. We can prepare plated dinners if you would like a server, and we do buffet meals as well. For intimate gatherings (under 10 people) plated service works well; for larger parties we recommend family/buffet style.
Are you open year-round?
Yes! Many Cape Cod personal chefs provide services only during the summer months, but we are open year-round. Backyard BBQs and clambakes/lobster bakes are of course more popular during the summer months, but we can also provide weeknight meals, gourmet dinner parties and cater any gathering or event you'd like!
How does your pricing work?
Depending on your menu, the number of guests, whether its plated or buffet service, it varies. Our invoices are generated based on the cost of the food, the chef/server labor, and a nominal administrative processing fee.
What is your deposit and refund policy?
A deposit is required to secure the date(s) at booking. DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. If you cancel, the deposit MAY BE USED TOWARD A FUTURE DATE SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY.
